Click here to view this month's Activity Calendar Still Hopes is fortunate to have a full-time Chaplain on staff. Each Sunday a traditional Episcopal Holy Eucharist Service is conducted in the beautiful Chapel of the Holy Spirit. The Still Hopes Chaplain also takes the Holy Eucharist Service to residents who are unable to attend the regular church service. Weekly Bible study classes and devotional hours are conducted in The Chapel of the Holy Spirit by ministers of other denominations. The Still Hopes Classroom offers continuing education, lectures and classes taught by instructors from the nearby colleges and universities, such as the University of South Carolina. Residents may enjoy a variety of topics such as ancient history or they may choose to take up oil or watercolor painting. For the music lover, Still Hopes engages hand bell choirs, choral groups, orchestras, and world-class pianists to perform for the residents. Still Hopes is surrounded by community theaters, concert halls, museums, and other cultural venues. Transportation is offered for these kinds of events as well as day and overnight trips.
